In recent years, the request to be able to get healthy and zero-kilometer food at hand has been growing more and more given the ever-increasing growth of urbanization in our territory. From this increasingly growing demand, more and more organic products began to appear in the compartments of our supermarkets and that had not been bred-grown on the other side of the world. The restaurants did the same, offering more eco-sustainable alternatives in their menus What is the 0KM concept? The 0 KM philosophy – or KM 0 as it is also known – promotes ecological foods with a maximum of one day’s delay in reaching the point of sale or the table. Food is produced near to the consumer’s place of residence, or at a maximum distance of 100km, to preserve freshness and quality.
